Iran is the third largest exporter of raisins in the world exporting more than 150,000 tons (27 percent of global consumption).
There are several varieties of Iranian raisins:
raisins are light brown to dark brown in color, Kashmar raisins also known as long raisins, golden raisins with cartteristics detectable only in grapes harvested in the Bonab area, and black Maviz grapes subject to limited production but highly sought after for their health properties.
The product is imported in the pricipal varieties described above and imported in compliance with the Sanitary requirements of the European Union to then be offered to all sales channels (from large-scale retail trade to small local distribution).
Golden raisins selected by us are naturally soft and sweet.
It is a natural source of fiber and is used in many culinary settings around the world. It is made by a process of dehydrating raisins, whereby the berries lose some of their internal water content. We have the option of having them in branded packages or bulk bags.
